Music / Concerts / Events

Music has always been a focal point in my family life. As a kid I was fasinated watching people play live music & how a person could literally change into the most beautiful person in the world in the space of minutes when they were playing 'immeresed in their happy place'. I poured through album cover photography and iconic music photos in magazines and dreamed. In 1987 I tried quite unsuccessfully to make my first concert photos of David Bowie in Auckland, New Zealand. Today the live environment still has me firmly in its grips. There’s no rhyme or reason when I’m shooting music, I don’t purposely subscribe to any shooting or editing style. Eventually, given time & practice, I hope to make some sweet image I feel I can call ‘Iconic’ ...
